From starting as an apprentice in a salon 15 years ago, Madhavi`s career has seen only an upward slope over the years. Customers noticed her burgeoning talent and many requested her to service them in their residences due to their time constraints. "At that point of time, I did not consider it seriously, but a few years down the line, I decided to take the beauty parlor to people`s residences." said Madhavi. Not only are her service rates cheaper than most salons, the products and paraphernalia she uses are herbal and very hygienic. From hair cuts to fruit facials, body massages and several other treatments, Madhavi equips herself with the latest trends and uses only the best products available in the market.
"Spending a grand a month on beauty put my purse on a crash diet. Also there`s the traveling time and the grueling heat which I wanted to avoid, and so I turn to Madhavi for the regular services and pamper myself at some big salon if I have to attend an important function. At least her prices are not inclusive of taxes!" said Sharanya, a final year engineering student.
